Hi! I'm Becca, LCSW, I am dedicated to helping young adults, women, and children cope with trauma and mental health issues by providing affordable therapy. I specialize in depression, low self-esteem, childhood trauma, eating disorders, and anxiety. I have 12+ years of experience working with abused adults and children. Other specializations include sexual, physical, and emotional abuse; domestic violence, intergenerational trauma, and poverty. I am an advocate for the elderly, single parents, families with incarcerated loved ones, and LGBTQIA individuals

Together, we will focus on building solutions in problem areas while identifying strengths in therapeutic sessions.
Thoughts impact feelings and feelings impact behaviors. Core beliefs come from childhood experiences.
I take an eclectic approach using different therapeutic techniques depending on individual client’s needs. A few of the therapeutic techniques I use in sessions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Contemplative Practices, art therapy, and Mindfulness.

I practice unconditional positive regard during therapeutic sessions. I respond with compassion. Our therapy space will be a judgment-free zone. You will feel comfortable and at ease during your sessions and develop new coping skills; Therapeutic techniques will improve self-esteem, and promote change in dysfunctional thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. This will help alleviate mental health symptoms. Together, We will also set goals to measure progress.
